Year 6/7 basketballers in action
Primary Co-curricular Report
Another term has come and gone. All of the soccer teams finished their term in Week 8, but the basketballers and lacrosse teams have still been in action. Our basketball teams have had a series of close games and the lacrosse team is participating in the festival of lacrosse this weekend which will be exciting
I want to extend my thanks to the coaches and parents of all teams who have ensured that the players have had the opportunity to be involved in the program. There is a lot of work done behind the scenes to ensure our teams are well represented and organised and this largely comes down to the devoted staff in charge. So, thank you to all involved.
Congratulations to Anthony Troiani (Year 7) and Joseph Garreffa (6N). These boys were selected in the North Adelaide SAPSASA Soccer team that participated in the State Carnival at West Beach in Week 9. The boys had a terrific week from all reports and finished in third position. Well done boys!
Congratulations also goes to Nathaniel Forby (Year 7) on being selected by the South Australian Cricket Association into the U/13 Blacks boys team that will represent the Southern Spiders at the 2018 Australian Indoor Cricket Championships to be held in Toowoomba in the holidays. Term 3
Please note that all training and games begin the first week back of Term 3.
Soccer training will take place on the first day back to school (Tuesday 24 July). Please come prepared to start the second leg of the Winter season.
