We have an exemplary team of staff who collectively contribute to the care and education of all students and each other on a daily basis. I would sincerely like to thank everyone for their ongoing professionalism and commitment to every aspect of school life at Beaumaris North Primary School throughout 2019. 

Our Leadership Team

Our school is led by a team of highly skilled professionals who meet on a regular basis to lead and drive the many changes that occur in our school year after year. I would like to sincerely thank my two very special Assistant Principals, Moira Simpson and Robyn Morecroft, whose countless skills and attributes have contributed equally to the leadership, management and running of our school. The compassion, care and support given to myself and us all is something else.

To the Leading Teachers, Brent Plowright, Debbie Murnane, Grant Rounsley, Jo Taylor and Mat Doran-Brown, thank you for your ongoing support throughout 2019.

In addition to managing specific portfolios, our Leading Teachers are mentors and coaches to all staff members.

Teaching Staff

To the Teaching staff, thank you for your outstanding work in providing the best education possible for our students. The primary years of schooling are the foundation for all future educational expectations.

From preparing lessons, planning curriculum, marking homework, preparing Learning Task feedback, attending meetings and completing required professional development to providing Lunch Clubs, managing student committees, mentoring students and attending school camps. Then there are parent-teacher interviews, extra-curricular activity planning and Semester Reports – much of which is done outside of the teaching day.

In addition to organising events and activities for the whole school, our Specialist Teachers have gone above and beyond in providing extra-curricular programs for our students from extension groups, competitions, special performances and staff vs student games.

Teaching Assistants

To our amazing team of Teaching Assistants, Jenny Baird, Kerryn Meredith, Jenny Marashli, Natalie Venuto, Janine Nelson and Annie Thomas. Thank you for the outstanding support you provide to the students (and their families) in your care. 

Our Casual Replacement Teachers (CRTs)

We have a wonderful team of regular CRTs who adapt willingly to all roles and responsibilities at our school. I would like to sincerely thank Anna Holmes, Shirley Kelly, Kaye Parker and Deb Ball for supporting our teaching teams throughout 2019. 

Wellbeing Team

Thank you Dr Carolann Clifford and Mrs Natalie McMahon for your ongoing professional knowledge and advice in all areas pertaining to the emotional and social wellbeing of our staff and students. 

Thank you also to Sid and Archie (Therapy Dogs) who do an amazing job!

Office Team

To Sue, Nicole, Annie, Sandra, Kerryn and Shannon, thank you for all that you do to keep our school running like a well-oiled machine. You carry out your roles professionally and efficiently and support all members of our school community. We could not survive without you!

First Aid Team

Thank you Kerryn and Nicole for managing all aspects of our First Aid program so diligently.

IT Support

Thank you Seb & Pasi for ensuring all technology is well maintained and accessible for consistent staff and student use.

We greatly appreciate your many skills and knowledge!

Our Handyman

Thank you to Vincent Wienckowski for taking care of all of our maintenance and gardening requirements and ensuring that we comply with OH&S regulations in relation to our school grounds.

Vincent keeps our school looking beautiful and most importantly, safe for us all.

Our School Cleaner

To our longest serving staff member, Lee Skaftouros, and his team of helpers, thank you for cleaning our school daily and keeping us entertained!

The team also do a wonderful job during all school breaks.

Our Canteen Manager

Thank you, Jenny, for providing an amazing and very valued Canteen service to our families. 

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Jenny, and we are so grateful for everything she does in all areas of our school.

Our Uniform Shop Co-ordinator

Thank you, Annie, for providing a wonderful Uniform Shop service to our families. Annie's efficiency and dedication to this role is appreciated by all.

Annie has also spent many hours in the Canteen this year which has been a tremendous help to Jenny. Thank you for your flexibility Annie!

Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

To Kelly, Tamara and team, thank you for providing an exceptional before and after school care program for our students. 

This service is valued by many of our school families and received an outstanding accreditation result this year. Well done!

Instrumental Music & Singing Lessons

Thank you to Simon Lindsay and his team of music tutors, together with Susie King, our Vocal Coach, for providing outstanding extra-curricular programs for our students.
