Year 4 Japanese Housing Unit

This semester the Year 3 and 4 students have been studying Japanese Housing in our Japanese Lessons. The Year 4 boys were able to recognise and verbalise house-related words both written and in listening formats.

As part of their assessment, the students were asked to re-create a labelled Japanese-inspired room, keeping in mind Japanese design and functionality. The results were amazing! We invited the Year 3 students to come and have a look and the best five rooms were awarded a prize from Oguma Sensei.

I would like to congratulate all boys on their participation and effort in making this unit interesting and fun. Arigatou!
