Facilities Updates

Exciting times

I am proud to keep the CSPS community abreast of the significant upgrades of Facilities.  This can sometimes be time consuming, but extremely beneficial to our school.  If you have any questions during these exciting times, please do not hesitate to organise a time to chat with me or talk with a member of the School Council.

Additional School Works

Classroom #1 and #2 (down the main corridor) have been officially closed for further works as of Monday 23rd April.  The Oasis Room that was originally in Classroom #2 has been temporarily moved next to 4a.

Student toilets

Significant work has continued with the student bathrooms; with installation of new ceilings and skylights underway.  Additional works in relation to new flooring has been approved by DET.

Throwing of rocks

Individuals, in and out of school hours, have been throwing rocks and stones onto the roofs of the temporary toilets, small and big rotunda and main buildings.  This is causing some massive areas of concern; the most important is student safety.  During school, some of this behaviour is notable after lunch, in Period 5 and 6.  I give support to any adult in the school during this time to state to the students who are misbehaving  “Throwing rocks/stones is unsafe.  We are a school that cares about your safety” and report the student names to the office.
