Sustainability at St Raphael's
Garden Club classroom online has moved...
During our last phase of home online learning, Miss Sarafian, Ms Luna and I found our extra activities really complimented each other so we've decided to combine forces and create a single classroom called WELLBEING. Here you will find websites, activities, recipes and more to keep you busy, entertained and learning. I might even pop in a sneaky photo of our new chickens at school - they certainly have grown since March.
The class code you will need is:wrolyrt.
See you there!
A sign of hope.
Days before we headed into home online learning last term, our Year 3/4 students spent some time planting daffodil bulbs at school. Daffodils traditionally are a symbol of hope, new beginnings and rebirth as they are one of the first perennials to bloom after the winter frost.
Last week, when I was at school I noticed despite being overgrown with weeds and in the midst of poppy plants fighting for space, a few beautiful and bright daffodils have popped their heads over the scrub. It was such a simple, yet joyful sight I thought fitting to share.
Stay safe everyone.
