Welcome back to Term 2!
Things are a little different to what we expected when we left at the end of Term One. Normally, we would be getting ourselves ready for our Open Day, unfortunately at this stage this event is postponed.
It is great to see so many students back at the College, and we certainly thank all parents/guardians for their efforts in supporting and assisting their child to be able to attend school. For those students who are unable to return to the College, we are continuing with their learning from home. Stay focused, work hard and remember to contact the College if you need assistance.
Staff and students are adapting to the changes as well as can be expected, and I thank them all for the efforts to date. We will no doubt continue to adapt to many changes.

EST’s
The Externally Set Task Assessments for all Year 12 General students have been postponed to a later date. This is yet to be advised by SCSA. When the new dates are known students and parents will be advised.
OLNA
As parent/guardians would be aware, OLNA results have been made available and the process is complete for Round 1 this year.
The College does not have access to the individual student assessments to review. We do have group and individual student diagnostics available for each of the assessments where students did not meet the requirements of each component.
The process the College undertakes following the release of the OLNA results each round:
- Provide results to students and parents/guardians
- Inform staff of students’ results
- Access diagnostics to determine the area(s) of assistance required and focus for groups of students and individuals.
The College will be accessing the diagnostics and working with the students over the coming months prior to the next OLNA Round.
These diagnostics are made available to students and parents who would like them.
Round 2 OLNA assessments are schedule for Weeks 7 – 10 of Term 3.
Finally, thank you to staff, students and parents for your patience and support as we begin navigating these unchartered waters together.
As they say, we are in this together. Take care and continue to look after each other.
