| Reading | Week 2 & 3 - We will be exploring a range of texts that include sounds and heart words as part of our Little Learners Love Literacy program. Students will participate in a range of reading activities that will support them in developing their phonological awareness. |
| Writing | Week 2 & 3- Students will explore procedural writing and complete two activties to support them to re-tell and write the steps involved in the task. |
| Maths | Week 2 and 3 - Students will be exploring addition and subtraction, using the language 'and', 'makes' and 'take away'. |
| Inquiry | Week 2 & 3 - Students will be exploring their community and what makes a community. Students will draw our school community and what is in their own community outside of school. |
| SEL | Week 2 & 3 - We will spend 15 minutes each day exploring strategies that the students can use to regulate their emotions. |
News and Reminders:
- Reader satchels need to be brought to school every Monday.
- Please sign your child's reading log (located at the back of their phonics book) every night.
- Remember although your child only comes home with two books they read one each night this will help build their fluency.
- Please remember to return your books on your class's assigned library day.
