During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	Week 2 and 3: To understand different types of figurative language.
Writing	Week 2 and 3: To understand different types of poetry.
Maths	Week 2 and 3 : To understand addition.
Inquiry (Health)	Week 2: To understand the difference between a natural and man made feature. Week 3: To explore the flora and fauna of Australia. To explore Indigenous Australians culture.
Social & Emotional Learning	Week 2: To understand and identify what it means to be kind. Week 3: To understand and correctly follow instructions.
