Tuning into Teens
Parenting Teens Program - Registrations Open Now!
Tuning in to Teens is an evidence-based parenting program that teaches parents the skill of Emotion Coaching. Parents who learn to Emotion Coach their child, raise more emotionally intelligent teens and have stronger bonds.
In Term 2 2023, for a second time, Mount Rowan Secondary College is pleased to offer this program exclusively to parents/carers of Year 6-12 students that are currently attending the following schools:
- Forest Street Primary School
- Miners Rest Primary School
- Mount Rowan Secondary College
- Yuille Park Community College
Group details:
10am-12pm Thursdays
1, 8 + 15 June
@ Mount Rowan Secondary College
Cost: Free
Local child & family therapist, Kelly Pickford from Attach Therapy will be facilitating the group. Kelly is a very warm and welcoming person with many years of experience running groups for families in the Ballarat West area.
Note: Usually delivery is 6 x 2hr sessions but this will be delivered as an intensive condensed version of 3 x 2hr sessions.
