Reading
This week in Reading, students have been learning how to make text to self-connections. We read the book, ‘Grandpa and Thomas’ and discussed how we connected to the story. We answered the following questions:
- What does this remind me of in my life?
- What is this similar to in my life?
- How is this different from my life?
- Has something like this ever happened to me?
- How does this relate to my life?
- What were my feelings when I read this?
Writing
In Writing, D5 students have been writing descriptions about different people, animals and objects. On Tuesday we described our favourite zoo animal.
