Tabloid Sports Day (F-2)

ALL PARENTS ARE WELCOME AT OUR TABLOID SPORTS

FOUNDATION-2

IT IS FINALLY YOUR TURN!

This Friday, the 12th of May all of our foundation, grade one and grade two students will have the chance to throw, jump and race their way to glory in our annual tabloid sports events.

It was a very hard decision to make (at our Athletics Carnival) to postpone this event but due to the muddy, wet and icy conditions of the track we were forced to move this special event to another time.

We are happy to announce that our Tabloid Sports Day will be held at school utilising our amazing facilities, with every student being able to celebrate our junior school at some stage during the afternoon.  Usually it is very difficult for the senior school to support their peers but this singular event has been organised so that our grade six leaders are an integral part of the day!

Action kicks off at 12:30pm and will conclude at approximately 3:00pm.  The F-2 students will have a special sausage sizzle lunch before the tabloids begin.

We invite anyone in the school community who wishes to attend this exciting event to come along and help us applaud the hard work our younger students have been doing in P.E. classes, perfecting their throws, jumps and running styles.

The afternoon will conclude with whole school attendance to watch the students run a sprint race on the oval with everyone cheering and chanting to create an electric atmosphere for our extra special little people!

All students from F-6 are asked to wear their house colours to enhance the celebration and spectators are also encouraged to dress up if they want to.

Please join us for, what is sure to be, a very enjoyable, adorable and happy afternoon of fun!

We will endeavour to accommodate the weather conditions as best we can to ensure everything goes ahead as planned.  If any changes are made to the schedule, parents or guardians will be promptly notified via email and on the Miners Rest Primary School parent Sentral page.

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday!
