Learning Diversity Term One

We have now completed our Term One PSG meetings for students with additional needs here at COHR.  PSGs (Program Support Group Meetings) are a valuable chance for parents of students with learning disabilities to discuss progress and collaborate in order to set future goals. A PLP (Personalized Learning Plan) may be developed by the class teacher to meet the specific needs of these students and the goals are reviewed each term.

Our process of evidence collection for these students with additional needs are in accordance with NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) requirements. Students with additional needs are supported within our school through adjustments made by class teachers, modifications to the curriculum and additional support provided either one on one or in small groups from the Learning Support Officers (LSOs) and class teachers.
