From the Principal

Tim Pass

Acting Principal

Hello everyone!

My name is Tim Pass and I am filling in for Matt Dowell who is on leave from 15 August to 2 September 2022.

I did a little research and was impressed to discover the WA College of Agriculture, Cunderdin has an excellent reputation with results to match. This comes as no surprise as during a tour of the College, I saw students hard at work under the guidance of dedicated teachers. I have been staggered by the size and range of quality facilities the College has at its disposal.

The positive working relationships between students and staff is very evident and vital for students to achieve their very best outcomes, as is the excellent job you as parents/caregivers provide in supporting the College achieve the very best for your child.

The challenge for our students now, is staying focussed on completing all tasks to the best of their ability. Dowerin Field Days, the College Ball and upcoming Country Week, are all worthy events but they must not distract students – especially our Year 12’s from completing their work that goes toward their final assessments and therefore graduation.

The recent rains were fantastic, as is the fine sunny days we are now experiencing, I hope all our farmers have received these rains.

Take Care,

Tim
