Students do not attend school on Student-free Days and Public Holidays.

Student-Free Days

Each year Victorian Government schools are provided with four student-free days for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development, and student assessment and reporting purposes. The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all Victorian government schools, and the remaining three student-free days are determined by each individual school. Please note the following for the EHPS community:

• Friday 28 January (student-free day in all Victorian government schools)
• Monday 31 January
• Two additional dates will be advised when determined by School Council.

The OSHC program provides care from 7am to 6pm on student-free days for students enrolled in the OSHC program. For enquiries about the OSHC program, contact Paul Davis, the OSHC Coordinator. 

Public Holidays

The public holidays that occur during school terms in 2022 are:

• Monday 14 March - Labour Day 
• Monday 13 June - Queen's Birthday
• Tuesday 1 November - Melbourne Cup
