A WING ~ TRANSITION TO 2020

After some 50 plus years of service the last remanent of A-wing will be demolished in the week commencing 6 January 2020.  This will have a big impact and a big workload to have the College ready in 2020.

At the moment the wing has the Ceramics, Art, General Classroom and Gymnasium.  In the past this part of A-Wing hosted Woodwork, Metalwork and Ceramics.

Whilst we are developing plans on who to use the space when A-Wing is gone But we get the feeling the we will need a Working Bee or Two to fast track the remediation of the space into smart student friendly and student focussed areas.

We will be activating A5, R12, R13, R14 & R15 to cover the loss of A-wing and a general growth in our student population in 2020.

Other actions that occur to the get the College ready for 2020 includes:

>   Relocation of staff

>   Clearing and Cleaning of existing Lockers

>   Establishing a new Locker Area due the departure of the A-Wing for Year 8 students

>   Activation of an old locker areas

>   Establishing communications and infrastructure for rooms
