Year 9

All year 9 students will have spent a week in the city for City Journey. Students visit a number of locations, conduct surveys and interview an expert on a topic of their choice. Students are required to complete a number of journal entries to allow students to reflect on their time in the city.

Day 2: First Impressions (five senses)

I don’t really enjoy walking around the city that much but I did enjoy the sky deck views. Being so high I could see the city from high above. I could hear sounds from the speakers around the room. I couldn’t really taste much, but I could touch the windows and feel the seats as I sit down to look out. I could smell the fresh air from being up high. Being in the city for one day can show how much walking and transport that may take place. The city has lots of different smells and sounds.
