Careers

Year 10 students have just completed the difficult but rewarding task of course counselling, choosing the subjects which will take them into the senior years and beyond. A large number of students and parents attended this evening and had some valuable conversations in terms of careers and pathways. Those who were unable to attend will be caught up with over the coming weeks by a member of the careers team.

Work experience in closing fast, occurring in the last week of this term, 16-20 September. Students and families are encouraged to begin approaching potential employers to find someone willing to take a work experience student. The longer this is left, the more challenging it will become. Speak with your pastoral care teacher for support or suggestions. You will also need to print or collect a copy of the work experience form and get this signed and returned to school once organised.
