SEXTING AND SPINCHAT

The year 8's took part in a presentation with Jessica Kelly on the topic of sexting. Not sure what this is? Here is some information from the governments e-safety site https://www.esafety.gov.au/esafety-information/esafety-issues/sexting

SpinChat is an initiative of Independence Australia and aims to promote prevention and educate secondary school students about spinal cord injury. The year 9's met Rhiannon last week and learnt about her heartbreaking story of how she went from being a carefree 21 year old on her first holiday in Bali to being injured by diving in a swimming pool. The importance of taking care of yourself and others was very compelling after hearing Rhiannon's story.

Thank you to Jessica for organising both sessions.
