PREP ENROLMENTS

Prep 2018 enrolments are filling fast.  Please make sure if you have a child that is eligible for Prep in 2018 that you come to the front office and collect an enrolment form.  Both Steiner and Reggio places are filling faster than expected.  Enrolments are taken on a 'first in-first served' basis.

Take care,

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please take a moment to read about some news relating to the Secondary School:

The secondary school welcomes Michelle Bregar to the Collingwood College secondary team. Michelle will replace Hameeda Al-Musawi who will be moving on to further study. We are pleased to announce that Michelle will be joining our team and sad to see Hameeda leave. As part of the transition Michelle will be taking some extra Science classes at year 8 and 9 from Vince with Vince taking over maths at year 7.

It is a busy period for year 10 students and their families as they start to plan a senior pathway and a successful transition to year 11.

On Monday 31st July Year 10 families will be invited to attend a conference with their homegroup teachers to discuss their pathway choices. Appointments can be booked on Compass between 4.00-7.30pm.  I will also be available for appointments on Monday.

PE / SPORT ATTIRE

Dear Parents / Carers,

It has come to my notice that students are continuing to wear the incorrect PE/Sport attire for their PE/Sport lessons.

Collingwood College has a compulsory PE/Sport attire policy for students from Yr 7 – 10. We have an embroidered Collingwood College PE/Sport polo shirt that is available to purchase from our reception at the cost of $35.

Students will wear Collingwood College polo shirt / T shirt, blue or black sport shorts, leggings, tracksuit pants or compression wear and runners only. No denim material (shorts or long pants), cargo shorts, over the knee shorts, board shorts or short shorts are to be worn.

If students wear the incorrect clothing for any PE/Sport lesson they will have a consequence for their actions and placed into an after school detention.

Thank you for your assistance with this. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need any clarification.

Our school works in partnership with parents and carers of students to ensure students (and staff) with ongoing and/or occasional medical needs have the appropriate school wide support and understanding for what could be complex medical issues.

Therefore it is with the upmost importance that parents and carers provide the correct and in-date medical documentation and information directly to the school as well as all in-date medicines needed at the start of the 2017 school year, or when a medical issue is diagnosed.
