Principal's Report

Welcome to Term 3

I hope you have enjoyed an energizing break with your daughters and the girls are ready for another term of learning and activities.

Design and Technology Exhibition

A brilliant exhibition of the creative hard work undertaken by Design and Technology students was held from Tuesday 14th June to Friday 24th June. The exhibition showcased Year 9 Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Design – Product, and Creating Global Flavours. The Year 10 students shone in Costume Design, Jewellery Design, Interior Design – Furniture and Food, Glorious Food.

The image created by Rachel Butchart of Year 10 Costume Design was used to create the official invitation. A selection of wooden side tables, sleepwear items, printed and hand-made textiles, food products, ottomans and stools, costumes for the ‘Rise of the Guardians’ stage show and individual jewellery pieces engendered much awe and discussion.

Congratulations to all students and our wonderful teachers Jo Jepsen, Hazel Etheridge, Carol Busetti, Karen Stubbs, Laura Blackburn, Ollie Hull and Trish Corless for the fantastic teaching and support work.

The exhibition is another example of the creativity, problem solving and innovative thinking which are essentials to future life skills and part of our Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics S.T.E.A.M. program.

Congratulations to Giorgia!
