Ancient Civilisations Day

The 13th of August was no ordinary day at MGC for it was Ancient Civilizations Day!

The Year 7 student lead day was organised as a shared learning experience between the four houses. Students from the four houses made games and posters based on their given ancient civilization, including ancient China, Egypt and Rome.

It was an innovative way to learn and interact with the other houses in gathering information for the upcoming ancient civilisations essay.

Everyone had a good time sharing information and playing games.  The day was fully embraced with students dressing as Mummies, Pharaohs, Priestesses and Emperors.

Ancient Civilisations Day brought history back to life and I am excited for similar events in the future.
