“On the 6th of September, the MGC A'capella choir, A'Capellago, went to the Australian A'capella Awards national finals hosted by Vocal Australia. We participated in an exciting workshop on mimicking instruments with our voices, led by Deke Sharon, music director of Pitch Perfect and “godfather” of contemporary a'capella.  A'Capellago then performed two songs on the night: a medley of the band Fun's songs, arranged by Ellyce Calder, and a medley of Lady Gaga pieces, arranged by Susan de Jong.  We had an amazing might of performing, learning, and supporting other schools and represented MGC exceptionally. Great job, A'Capellago!”
