OSHC

Wominjeka Everyone,

We are very excited to host our first Indigenous incursion next Tuesday May 11 at 4pm from the Wurundjeri Land Council!

Our grade 4-6 students will be learning about Wurundjeri History and Cultural Games.

If you wish your child to be part of this amazing opportunity you can make a casual booking through Xplor Home app. If you are not registered please contact Bernadetta on 0478 836 264

Senior Program:

  1. Jacob’s Reserve Outings

Our Seniors are really enjoying our outings to Jacob’s Reserve.

Please note, all students with permission are allowed to go on the excursion. If you want to give permission, please email Bernadetta on oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au

  1. Seniors’ Master Chef

As our Cooking Clun is popular we have been offering a special session to our Seniors as they are more responsible and confident human beings. They have the opportunity to show off their skills and be judged by a panel.

Next week, the Master chef is on Wednesday at 4pm  and these are the criteria that judges will base their decision on:

  1. Preparation and organization
  2. Cooking skills
  3. Clean up and pack up

I would like to invite parents if they can/want to be part of the panel. Any parents can be part and you don’t need to have a child enrolled in OSHC.

If you are interested please contact Bernadetta for more info.

Next week, in our panel there will be:

Bernadetta – OSCH Coordinator

Jack Madin – Music Teacher

One parent… to be confirmed

From the program this week:

Master Chef was a big success – Students baked scones and the winner is… Indira!

Well done!

Sewing Club: Students have been working on bags for the plastic soft bags for their classroom and they are embossing their names on their bags! Congratulations to Grace C. ad Lilith for being part of this project!

Our magnets are going viral – our students love making any kind of constructions out of them!

Jewellery making is another popular activity and I think students are doing such a great job that we should have our own stand in the WMM!!! What do you think? No… just joking!
