Maths

Congratulations to the following students who competed in the 2021 Maths Olympiad last week. 

Jackson Britten, Harvey Langendorf, Owen Ballantyne, Alexander Melfi, Nathaniel Challenger, Rory Sutherland, Aidan Pivato, Rohan Horton and Chloe Jones.

The Maths Olympiad is an online mathematics competition for primary school students across Australia and New Zealand, designed to extend and challenge student’s mathematical thinking.

Well done to Jackson Britten who finished in the top 100! 

Science

This term Felix, Rohan, Alfie and Harvey from the Middle School have participated in a series of virtual science workshops ran by the Discovery Science and Technology Centre. Every week they participated in live online lessons, engaging in hands-on experiments using everyday materials along with the presenters. Here they are discovering what ‘Pops or Not’.
