Senior Girls' Softball team

In a fitting farewell to School Captain, and Captain of the Senior Girls' Softball team, Jasmine Mondia, we ventured down the highway to Stead Park, Geelong to take on the might of the WMR on Monday, 10 May. The girls were unlucky to get the final out in the first game, and an 8 - 5 lead reverted to a 2 - 3 loss to eventual winners Northern Bay. They then proceeded to produce a dominant display of batting against Sunbury College and Suzanne Corey, winning 7 - 6, and 6 - 2 after even innings.

All players made solid contributions to the effort on the day. They have trained hard for months in preparation and were unlucky not to be going to State Finals. A special thanks to Thanh Do and Jasmine Mondia for their assistance with the senior and intermediate boys baseball teams at the Keilor Division games in Term 1. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and dedication to the team.

Finally, a very big thank you to Jasmine, without your efforts back in year 7, the school would not be in the position to have so many competitive softball and baseball teams representing us with distinction each year. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
