Students strike for a safe future!
March 15 was officially the largest day of Climate Action ever! Last Friday students and adults went on strike to demand serious governmental action to combat global warming and ensure a safe future. And the youth were leading it! Across Australia there were 51 events with over 150,000 people attending. However, whilst Australia was asleep on Friday night there were over 1.5 million people who attended 2000+ strikes in more than 100 countries and every continent in the world! Here is a link to the global map of strikes; https://fridaysforfuture.org/events/map and visit this link to find more about why students went on strike; www.schoolstrike4climate.com.
