French excursion

Year 7 French students at the French Film Festival

Our year seven students of French went on an excursion to the French Film Festival to watch “Astérix et le secret de la potion magique” at the Westgarth cinema. Astérix is a classic comic character in France.

It is the story of a small village in Gaul who resists the Roman legions of Julius Cesar. Their secret is a magic potion, which gives them incredible strength.

Students enjoyed the movie and did pick up some of the French words…and the English subtitles did the rest.
