Athletics Carnival - Thursday10 June 2021

Preparations are underway for our school Athletics Carnival that will be held on Thursday, 10 June at the Kerryn McCann Athletics Track (Beaton Park), Gwynneville. 

All students will participate in events as part of a rotation. Students will be transported to and from the venue by bus. Further information regarding this event will be communicated via Compass over the coming weeks. 

Students in Years 2-6 will be practicing for high jump in Week 5 and Week 6, before our in-school competitions take place to determine those students that will compete in the Championship High Jump at the carnival.

Students have been showing enjoyment of the opportunity to improve their skills and use teacher feedback to improve their technique.

Sports Uniform Changes

KINDERGARTEN

For the remainder of the term students in Kindergarten are required to wear sports uniform on Wednesday and Thursday.

YEAR 6

Please note that for the remainder of the term students in Year 6 are required to wear sports uniform on Wednesday and Friday.

You will be advised of any changes to these days throughout the term.
