College News

Mr Martin Tucker

After some eight years of wonderful leadership and generous service, Mr Martin Tucker will be completing his time as Head of Junior School. In some exciting news, Martin has been appointed to the role of Principal at St John Paul II Catholic Primary School in Banksia Grove. This presents a great opportunity for Martin to take on the leadership of a K-6 Catholic School and is reflective of his many achievements in our Trinity Junior School, and reward for his ongoing professional learning in educational leadership.

Martin has been requested to commence his new role as Principal on 25 April 2022. This means that he will be completing his role as Head of Trinity Junior School on Friday, 8 April 2022 (end of Term 1). Martin will be sadly missed, but we are very grateful for the wonderful legacy that he leaves our Junior School and the Trinity College as a whole.

With the desire to provide familiar and consistent leadership in our Junior School, I have appointed Mrs Evelyn Temmen in the role of Acting Head of Junior School for the remainder of this academic year. I thank Evelyn for generously accepting this role and know that she will be greatly supported by the staff and wider community. The College will now seek to commence a process to appoint a substantive Head of Junior School for 2023.

Martin leaves our College with our utmost gratitude, sincere best wishes and all of God’s blessings as he begins the next part of his journey as an educational leader.

On behalf of all members of the Trinity College Community, I warmly congratulate Martin on his appointment to St John Paul II Catholic Primary School, wish him every success in this important leadership role and thank him for his significant and valued contribution to Trinity College.
