From the Principal

Dear Parents/Caregivers

As we conclude term 1, I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to all community members for their patience and resilience over the past 11 weeks. Like all, I yearn for the presence of mums, dads, siblings and family members in the yard and around the school during the day. Hopefully, we return to drop off and pick ups like we remember in the not too distant future and a parent walking into their child's classroom once again becomes the norm.

With holidays commencing today, a reminder that we are offering Vacation Care during the break. There has been a lot of interest in the program with quite a few days already at capacity and therefore unavailable. If you interested in booking your child in and have not yet done so, enquiries should now be directed to the OSHC Co-ordinator, Julie Jurkovic.

Term 2 means the transition to winter uniform. There is a "grace" period of a couple of weeks as the temperatures remain warm. A reminder that all students should be wearing the correct school uniform at all times.  I appreciate that there are times when things haven't dried  or something has gone missing. On these occasions, please let your child's teacher know.  A reminder that we do have school beanies as part of the uniform, these are great for keeping cold heads warm on a chilly morning.

We had the surveyors on site last week and the Architects have met with staff in regard to new Administration block. I look forward to sharing drawings with the community in the near future.

I hope everyone has a great Easter break and I look forward to seeing all in  a couple of weeks.

Sean Hill
