Technology Studies

This term has been great for our Year 7 and 8 students in Technology

In Systems Technology our students have been completing a Make A Difference Project in Year 7 looking at real world issues and in Year 8 our students have been creating circuits.

In Textiles our Year 7 students have been making Bunting and in Year 8 our students have been making some stuffed toys to donate to local charities.

Our students have worked very hard throughout the term and have created some spectacular designs and final products. We look forward to seeing what they create next term in their next subject.

Onguard

Onguard is our online safety training resource used in Technology to assist students in consolidating their knowledge around processes, hazards and all things workshops before using our tools.

This term we have decided to reward the student from Year 7 and Year 8 who have completed the most units and reached the top of their leaderboard.

The winners are Jacky Phommasouk from Year 7 and Holly Makaay from Year 8.

Both students will get a voucher to Westfield for their efforts this term. We look forward to some more competition from other student's next term.
