meet chelsea

You may have seen me around the school, or church, over the last week so we thought it was time I introduced myself!

My name is Chelsea Schiller, and I have just started with the Good Shepherd Community as the Young Families Coordinator. This is a new role in the church which I am excited to be taking on!

I am here to be the primary connection between the two parts of our community – the school and congregation. My work space is in the school, and I hope to spend a good chunk of my week connecting with teachers and staff and hanging out with students – in whatever way is needed.

I also wish to be a support and resource to you – the parents and families in our community. As parents and carers, I recognise that you are the single greatest influence on your children’s faith, and I want to help, support and resource you in this.

I’m not here to have the answers, but to learn and explore with you how we can help our young people grow into teenagers and adults with a strong and lasting faith.

When you’re around the school or congregation, please introduce yourself.  You’ll often find me in my office just off the Reception area or hanging out at in the church cafe grabbing a coffee.

I can’t wait to learn more about our community, meet you and your families and to see where our community goes!
