Congratulations to Ms Rose Kavanagh who won first prize in series 5 of the The Talent on 3MBS radio. 

RECENT PERFORMANCES

Symphonic Wind had a great celebratory concert in the Auditorium to conclude their work for 2017 on Monday 16 October. Thank you to all who attended and wished the departing Year 12 students well and thanks for their contribution over the last few years. Thank you to Ms Su Rogerson for her work with this group over the year.

Well done to the Ovenden Band students who took part in the Master Class workshop with Kilvington Grammar on Thursday 26 October.  The students gained a great deal of insight in performing with their instruments in an ensemble setting. Thank you to Ms Tracy Videon for her organization of this event.

Congratulations to all the students in the Year 11 Music Performance class for their outstanding nights entertainment on Thursday 26 October.  The standard was high and all the gathered friends and family were thoroughly entertained.  A special thank you to Mr Baltazar Kurowski for his organization of this night.

SURVEY FOR YEARS 7 -11 STUDENTS

Instrumental music students in Years 7 – 11 have been emailed a survey from Mr West.  Please ensure that you complete this survey as quickly as possible.

SHELVING IN STOREROOM

We remind all students to use the shelving in the storeroom and to keep the space as tidy as possible.

APPROVAL OF COMPASS EVENT

A further reminder to the parents of the Year 7 and 8 Band students to complete the Compass event for the upcoming VSMF performances.
