From the Principal

It is the last week for students in Years 11 and 12 before they prepare for their final exams. As a College, we spend the week farewelling our Year 12 students particularly, with their very special Graduation Mass, which happened last night, and their Belling Out, which will take place on Friday.

Each day this week the Year 12s dress in theme and on Friday, they will lead the Senior School in the frivolity of the Leavers' Assembly. They will 'dress' the common room and hand it over to the Year 11s.

The spirit is buoyant at times and solemn at others, and every ounce of it is a hallmark of a school that is loved by its students, and students who are loved by their school.

It has been the College’s privilege to have this fine group of strong young women as its own for all these years. We wish them every blessing in life as they leave us.

Thank you to the families of Year 12 who have been partners to the College, and who have volunteered numerous hours supporting our young people of many years. We have been blessed by your presence and generosity.

At the Graduation Mass last night, staff sang this hymn to the Year 12 students, in the darkness of the Cathedral, lit only by candle light. This is our prayer for them.

The Blessing Song
May the Lord look upon you with kindness
and give you His peace.
May He free you from all anxiety, and make your worries cease.
May He hear your every prayer and guide your way in His love.
May He keep you safe forever from all harm.
May your days be blessed with friendship
and your home with His grace.
May you always be blessed by His presence
with you in every place.
May courage and faith walk beside you.
May you grow in His love day by day.
And in love may you strengthen each other forever.
