Mathematics

Most students have spent 36 weeks learning remotely - which is nearly a full school year! Whilst it sounds like a long time, it’s only about 7% of the 13 years at primary and secondary school.

It was so great to welcome back students over the past week and to see their faces and to hear their voices. Let’s hope that our school yard continues to be filled with the laughter and joy we’ve missed for so long.

This week, the Year 8  and 9 students were doing fun Mathematics activities to welcome them back onsite at the College.

The Year 9 students created scale drawing lessons to spell the phrase, “Welcome Back Year Nine” and the Year 8 students solved algebraic equations to solve the phrase “Welcome Back Possums”.
