DCC Community Hub

I loved meeting you all during Term 3.  Seeing your faces as I did Breakfast Club Home Deliveries was a highlight.  Sharing English Conversations with your children online was also great.  I hope that you enjoyed our Pacific Themed preschool story time sessions on the Dohertys Creek College Facebook page. What I loved most about Term 3 was being able to get to know the students, teachers and staff who attended onsite learning.  I have not been in a school setting for some time so being reminded of the hard work parents and teachers do every single day was great.

With restrictions easing I have a mixture of in person and online activities planned for Term 4.  We will be doing English conversations for adults, Story in the Park, in person breakfast club, online community coffee & chat and also a walking group.  I have also planned an online cooking session so we can share culture, food and get to know each other better (dates to be confirmed).

]We will continue to add to the programs as I get to know you all and discover what you want to do and need.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to chat with me if you see me around the school or visit me in my office.  As always you can email (morwenna.petaia@education.vic.gov.au) or call the school and ask for Morwenna.
