Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Premiers' Reading Challenge has kicked off for 2023 and Mackellar Primary School is excited to be participating! The Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for your child to experience a broad range of books and develop their Literacy skills, whilst letting their imagination run wild.

To complete the challenge:

• Students in Prep-Grade 2 are challenged to read or experience 30 books by themselves, or with someone else
• Students in Grades 3-6 are challenged to read 15 books

There are thousands of books for your child to choose from on the Premiers’ Reading Challenge book list. Every student who completes the Premiers' Reading Challenge will receive a certificate, signed by Daniel Andrews and other past Victorian State Premiers.

Your child's teacher will provide them with their details to log in to the Premiers' Reading Challenge website, where they can record the books they read. The Challenge will end on Friday 8th September.
