Meet the Board
The Girton Grammar School Board is currently made up of ten members who are responsible for the overall strategic direction of the School.
The Board’s major responsibilities include oversight of the School’s mission and values, the Girton Grammar School Strategic Plan 2023-2028, and the Girton Grammar School Master Plan 2023-2033. The Board also has responsibilities with regard to financial oversight of the School, especially in relation to the fee structure and expansion of buildings and facilities.
The composition of the Board is broad, with a range of professional skills represented by its members. Over the next few editions of eLink, we would like to introduce our Board members to the Girton community.
This week, we would like to introduce you to board member, Mr Broughton Snell.
Mr Broughton Snell MBBS(Hons) BSc(Hons) FRACS(Plast.), GAICD

"Girton rose again from the ashes in 1993 and has excelled year on year since then to become what it is today; something the entire Girton community should be very proud of,” Mr Snell said.
“I joined the Board because I believe Girton Grammar School is on the verge of yet another growth and transition phase."
"I want to be involved in working with other passionate Girtonians to help govern the School during this time, and strengthen the Girton Community.”
