Art

This year in art we have been experimenting with different materials, such as clay, papier Mache and paints.

Our wonderful junior grades have been using clay to make pieces for the art show, including mushrooms, water lilies, frogs and bowls and our senior grades have been working on creating delicious clay pies. We have also created illuminate letters for our coat of arms.

The Extended art class has been creating a unique chalk still life background and a picture frame decorated using raw pasta. We have also been painting cardboard to make realistic looking timber beams for the art show.

This year's art show theme is a ‘Kingdom Castle’ inside and out and we have been very pleased with all the artwork that is being made by other grades in the school.
