Laudato Si Week  - Begins 16th May and goes to 24 May  

Laudato Si reminds us that human life is grounded in three fundamental intertwined relationships: with God, our neighbour and our planet home.

Laudato Si' is an encyclical of Pope Francis published in May 2015. It focuses on care for the natural environment and all people, as well as broader questions of the relationship between God, humans, and the Earth. 

A PRAYER FOR OUR EARTH - Reflection 

A simple version of prayer (based on Laudato Si n246) 

Creator God

teach us to see you in the beauty of the universe

for all things speak of you.

We praise you and thank you for every creature you have made.

Help us to feel deeply connected to everything that is.

God of love

make us channels of your love for all the creatures of this earth as not one of them is

forgotten in your sight.

Help those who have power and money to not be indifferent, to uphold the common good,

advance the weak and care for this world in which we live.

The poor and the earth are crying out.

O Lord

help us to protect all life, to prepare for a better future,

for the coming of your Kingdom of justice, peace, love and beauty.

Praise be to you!
