Dear Parents and Carers
The last two weeks we have enjoyed two fabulous events, Run for Mum and Do It For Dolly Day, that have brought us together as a community. The work of many people made sure the gatherings were enjoyable and successful. We look forward to planning for our next gatherings.
2023 Fees and Levies
Fee Statements were sent home with your Children last week. Below is a reminder of the different facilities available to make payments
· Direct Deposit
· EFTPOS
· Cheque or Cash
· Direct Debit (It is not too late to join our Direct Debit Fortnightly Schedule – You may nominate any amount which suits your Family’s situation)
In cases of financial hardship or where other special circumstances exist, a fee concession may be granted.
If this is the case please contact Liz to arrange a meeting to discuss this matter or contact the office.
School Uniform
Please make sure your child's school uniform (in particular school jumpers) is named. We are finding many jumpers in the yard that are not named.
If your child brings a school jumper home that is not theirs, please send it back to school so we can find its owner.
School bus
We have reminded bus travellers of the need to sit and use the seat belts while travelling to and from school. We ask you to remind your children to be mindful of the safety and wellbeing of all on board the bus.
This image (below) is a snapshot from the Permission to Travel document signed by all bus travellers.
Book Fair
Thank you to all families that visited the Book Fair over the last two weeks. We have been able to choose $500 worth of books for our library.
Special thanks to Sarah McInnes who has managed the Book Fair for us for many years. Sarah is at school in the morning and afternoon to support families that wish to look and purchase.
Pupil Free Days
There are two (2) pupil free days in term 2.
- Monday 29 May
- Wednesday 7 June
While we try to plan for days either side of the weekend, it is important that the Pupil Free Day on Wednesday 7 June has all staff in attendance.
Transition
We look forward to welcoming families that are looking for a place to begin their child's education journey. We are offering many opportunities to come into our school to see learning in action.
This week:
All are welcome!
Take care and stay in touch.
