Girls Footy Gala Day
On Tuesday 23rd May, our girls footy teams headed out St Helena, Heidelberg and Diamond Creek to compete in the schools Gils Footy Gala Day.
An amazing effort by all of our teams 🏈
7/8 Girls Team
Had a great day out! Highlight was that everyone kicked a goal!!
Intermediate Girls
Intermediate girls won! Their next game will be Monday 17th July!
Senior Girls
Senior girls win 3/3 games with 14 players to go through.
Next game will be Friday 23rd June, 2023.

Unfortunately lost the semi's, however everyone did super well!

We had a great day coaching this group.
All students showcased unique skills and great teamwork to defeat Macleod comfortably and Greensborough in a close affair.
Phoenix Green (C) was pivotal with intercept marks across the ground, Noah Dench and Jack Baggot were exceptional in both games around the centre clearances and locking down of opponents.
Simon Liptak, Ryan Forbes and Ryder McMurray were strong down back setting a high standard for teammates contributing greatly to the close win against Greensborough.
All boys played extremely well and were awesome to work with.

And big shout out to the inter boys… off their own backs chose to have a number of our team swap and play for Greensborough as they were short players. So as to even up and so all could enjoy the second half.

Year 8 Boys Badminton
The Year 8 boys badminton had a tie game but won by 3 points in the end - made it to the next round along with the intermediate and senior!

Year 8 Girls Netball
Year 8 Section 2 netball team, did well but lost 1 game by 1 point.
Great day with the Year 8 girls netball Section 1.
Same as section 2 they did really well but lost one game (to Macleod College) so runners up for the day.
Unfortunately Annabelle fell and had to come off court with an ankle injury & was picked up by her Dad.
Special thanks to Year 12 student Stella Drummond who has been wonderful with supporting the teams too.
