Boys Netball

Our Boys netball teams tried very hard last Friday against St Mary’s, but unfortunately were defeated. I think the boys now realise how difficult the sport of netball can be and how frustrating all the rules are. Thanks to Scarlett and Matilda Gibson for umpiring on the day, and to the parents who supported the event.

Extra Swimming Lesson

Students in Years 3 and 4 will have their ‘make-up’ swimming lesson at Heather’s Swim School on Thursday 15th June. This is to make up for the lesson we missed on Anzac Day. Therefore children will have two swimming lessons in the one week. Lesson times will remain the same. If any parents/grandparents can assist with walking can they please contact their child’s classroom teacher?

Colac Primary Schools Football/Netball Lightning Premiership

This Thursday 8th June, many students from Year 5 and 6 will play football and netball in the Colac Primary Schools Football/Netball Lightning Premiership.

The football will take place at the Western Oval and the netball will take place at the Eastern Reserve. Students will travel by bus to these events.

Footballers will need to wear football shorts, socks and football boots (bring these along in your school bag). Football jumpers will be supplied.

Netballers will need to wear their sports uniform.

All students will need to bring along a water bottle, fruit, snacks and lunch. Spare clothes and a towel will be needed. The weather is not looking good!

(Please complete Permission details on PAM for your child)

Umpires needed: We do need umpires for both of these events. If you have a student at Trinity or Colac Secondary College that would be willing to help out on the day, can you please let me know?
