Dear families,

CHANGES TO OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS CARE

In the next couple of weeks, we are changing the operational procedures of our Out of School Hours Care Program. After much consideration and with the support of our School Council, we have decided to transfer the running of our Out of Hours School Care Program to Kelly Club Australia commencing Term 3. https://www.kellyclub.com.au/

From 26th June they'll be running both the Holiday Program and OHSC. They will be operating from 7am to 9am each morning, providing breakfast and 3pm to 6pm each afternoon providing snacks. They will also be offering care for pupil free days.

The fee structure has changed and there will be an increase in cost for both sessions to cater for additional time, activities, and food. They offer a permanent rate and a casual rate. With changes in the CCS from 1st July, the increase in fees will only have a small impact on your out-of-pocket cost.

All bookings and cancellations will now be completed through the Kelly Club. They use Xplor also so this will assist the transition.

LUNCH ORDERS

Lunch orders are available from the Junction Hotel on a weekly basis and will continue in Term 3. Orders are to be written on a brown paper bag with correct money and placed in the lunch order bag in your child’s classroom by Thursday morning. 

Reminder: There will be NO Lunch orders Friday 23rd June (Last day of Term 2).

FAREWELL LUNCH/ P & F MEETING

Parents and Friends are organising a farewell lunch for staff who are leaving this term. This lunch will be held prior to assembly on the last day of term at 12pm.  More details will follow after their meeting on Monday night. It is being held at the Junction Hotel on Monday 19th at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. 

STOMP

Due to illness STOMP has been postponed until the first Tuesday in Term 3. 

TREE PLANTING

We have been very fortunate to have Kylie Hoskin come along to the school and do tree planting with the Grade 3 / 4 students in the area surrounding the Frog Bog.

STAFFING

We are very excited to announce the three new staff members who will be joining us next term. Dani Watt will be in 1 / 2 S, Mason Argus will be in 1 / 2 T and Stacey Wilkinson will be sharing the 3 / 4 class with Mrs Bathman. We are indeed very fortunate to have such impressive people join our team at Toolamba. All three staff members have been visiting our school over the past few weeks to ensure that the transition for them and the students is as smooth as possible.
