Book Week

Later this term we will be celebrating Book Week - Monday 21st to Friday 25th August. During this time, our teachers and students will be celebrating books, and particularly Australian children's authors and illustrators. 

The theme for this year is Read, Grow, Inspire!

On Wednesday 23rd August students are invited to come dressed as a favourite book character and students from Prep to 6 will be involved in a Book Week Parade with their buddy and class.  Details of time and place to follow closer to the event. 

We wanted to provide plenty of warning for this as we understand families are busy so please pop the date in your diary.  

We encourage you and your child to have fun with making some preparations, and we know lots of students have chosen some favourite characters already! Please note there are lots of simple costume options that could be put together with items from home so please don't feel obligated to make any purchases and feel free to keep it simple.
