All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

On Tuesday, as part of their Faith Development Journey, the Year 5 and 6 students and their families have been invited to a presentation by Roseanne Rofaeel, the founder of COTS (Christmas on the Streets).  Roseanne is a prime example of a 'Spirit-Filled Person' who felt a calling to help the poor and marginalised.

In 2016, she hosted what she thought was a once-off  event for the homeless on the streets of Melbourne. Unbeknownst to her it has turned into a large organisation known as COTS with many volunteers, all working with the Holy Spirit to bring the love of God to those less fortunate.

Roseanne embodies the true spirit of Christ, being the face of God to all those she encounters.  She definitely lives out the gospel value of loving one another as Jesus has loved you.

Christ has no body but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours.

Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassionately on this world.

Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good.

Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.

Yours are the hands.

Yours are the feet.

Yours are the eyes.

You are his body.

Christ has no body now but yours!        St Teresa of Avila
