Hooptime

What a wonderful experience Hooptime was for nearly eighty of our Level 3 and 4 students!  It was fantastic to observe excellent sportsmanship and teamwork, with students taking the time to encourage and support one another. Congratulations to all teams for representing Wonga Park Primary School so beautifully, and a special mention to the All Star Boys and Wombats who won their grand finals and the many families who came along to support us.

CBL - 'Power'

There’s excitement in the air as our Level 3 and 4 students plan and design toys as part of our CBL challenge. Thanks so much to the many families who have sent in materials for our toy construction. The students look forward to sharing their creations with chosen community groups.

National Reconciliation Week

The students enjoyed participating in reading activities during National Reconciliation Week, which extended their understanding of how symbols are used by Aboriginal people to share stories. They also did a great job studying the vocabulary within different versions of the Acknowledgement of Country, using these key words to identify the intended audience it was written for.
