July Cup: During the holiday our SPX 1st XI hosted the third annual July Cup competition ‘The Sid Sanderson Memorial Cup’. Five sides took part in the round robin. The Kings School, Sydney Grammar, SCECG’s Redlands and SPX Barbarians played on the day.
SPX 1st XI won all four matches with Sydney Grammar coming runners up. The tournament provides a useful competition which helps bridge the three week holiday gap and leads well into the second half of the ISA season.
