RSL Rural Commemorative Youth Choir
Year 7 student, Zoe Crawford, has been a member of the RSL Rural Commemorative Youth Choir since 2013. This choir works to bring history and music together to inspire and develop young leaders, encouraging them to learn from the past, live in the present and look to the future. As part of this group, Zoe has been an ambassador for the choir and invited to represent them at important functions such as at Government House and St. Andrews Cathedral. This membership has also provided Zoe with the opportunity to be part of the 21st Century Leadership Academy which supports students in developing their leadership skills and understanding of Australia’s military history.
More recently, this choir has been invited to perform with the 2013 winner of “The Voice”, Harrison Craig, as part of his regional tour. They will perform on stage, singing Harrison’s original song ‘More Than a Dream’ at the Civic Theatre.
We congratulate Zoe on her selection in this choir and wish her all the best tonight.
