Year 12 Democracy Sausage

Year 12 fundraising in action on the Election Day! Thanks to all of the Year 12 students and Year 12 Adviser, Miss Saliba who worked very hard throughout the day. Thanks also to the parents and community who supported the cause and bought plenty of sausages!  We raised approximately $2,000

Cecil Café

Our brand new Cecil Café is in operation - currently open every morning before school until the start of the school day and most Recesses and Lunch breaks.  It is currently staffed by Ms Marando.  Once our Year 11 Hospitality students have completed their barista training, they will be on a rotational roster supervised by their Hospitality teacher.  Students will gain experience in a realistic setting, where the customer to staff ratio is similar to that of a commercial café.  They will develop skills in taking orders, financial transactions, preparing and serving a range of espresso coffees, preparing and serving basic food items and most importantly, good customer service. Students will undertake a full service period where they prepare the café to the final shut down of operations ready for the next team to work

Earn and Learn

We are excited to be taking part in the 2019 Woolworths Earn & Learn Program -  and super grateful to all our families and community members who are supporting us.  During the previous campaign, we were able to purchase some great resources with the points we earned, thanks to you. Please continue to collect the stickers and place them in the boxes here at school or in the collection box for Cecil Hills High School in  our local Woolworths supermarket.  Students can also earn house points by placing the stickers in the House boxes in the school office.    We are looking forward to another successful program.
